  Extremely Knowledgeable, professional and helpful during our difficult time. My family has used this funeral home for 15 years and have buried 8 of our friends and family members with Calvillo. We recently had a funeral two weeks ago and everything was perfect at my grandfather's funeral. -Garcia Family

  What a sorry excuse of a human being Richard Calvillo is, if you cherish your loved ones and want them buried with respect, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! He disrespected my brothers body and gave him the worst funeral possible. They buried my brother last year and did not notify my mother, my brother or sister, or any of his family. They never let us see him or say goodbye to my brother until my mother hired a private investigator to see where my brother was only to find him dead...if you truly love your loved ones, steer clear of Calvillo and Broadway funeral homes, he owns both and will definitely cheat you.

  It is my great pleasure to write this review. I have known Richard Calvillo for over 25 years. I can state with confidence that he is a motivated and responsible person with a high degree of integrity.
  
  Mr. Calvillo holds considerable amount of responsibilities, and he handles them effortlessly. He shows his skills to communicate with both families and his staff, his dedication and attention to detail. In the years that I have known and worked with Mr. Calvillo I have developed enduring respect for both his work ethic and his problem-solving abilities.
  
  Mr. Calvillo takes the initiative to identify problems and devise solutions. His role requires strong communication skills, and he has shown that he not only has these skills, but that he also has the ability to inspire respect and cooperation from his staff. Mr. Calvillo has shown that he is a very intelligent person with a mind well-suited to the world of business and management.
  
  In conclusion, I believe that Mr.Richard Calvillo is an exemplary human being with the brain power, personality, and heart necessary to succeed in taking care of families at time of need.

  One of the most difficult thing's you will ever have to do, is sit across from a funeral director and discuss the final farewell of a loved one. Today I had to do just that but the entire staff / Family at Calvillo made this process so warm and comforting. We laughed, we cried. Richard was so patient and kind, not for one moment did we feel rushed or uninformed. Not that I would wish the need for there services on any one, I am sure glad to know that The Calvillo Funeral Home family will always be there in time of need. Bless you all,

  My family had a terrible experience at Broadway Funeral Home (owned by the same people as Calvillo Funeral Home). Please don't make the same mistake we did. They are so rude and downright deceitful in their business. The owner, Richard Calvillo, is a hateful person who was so terrible to my family. I don't know how these people are in the business of serving families at their time of loss! Such a disgrace.
