  I called today and spoke to a charming lady named Lydia. I requested 2 names to be added to their prayer list. Lydia took the names promised to add them. She was very polite and accommodating.

  I've attended this place since 2005, and I love it. I was sad to here of Father Jerry's passing a few years back, but Father George's unique perspective never discouraged me for attending.

  I've attended SJNeumann's for awhile. A year ago I noticed something out of the ordinary, 3 people a family I presume, passing everyone in the aisle to be first to receive holy communion. This continued for a few months, then no more. Recently, I started attending a later Sunday mass, and while preparing to receive holy communion, these same 3 people passed me by to be first to receive communion. The ushers moved out of their way. Then last Sunday, February 5, 2017, I happened to be sitting in the first aisle preparing to receive communion when I noticed an usher walking at a double time pace in my direction. He arrived in time to prevent me from entering the aisle, just in time for these 3 people to pass me by like I was a ghost, 'a la Bruce Willis, "I see dead people".
  
  Father George is what I consider an intellectual "nerd" priest. When he is not tripping over his robes, he gives excellent homilies. He is the first priest I have ever heard give a homily on his experiences during actual exorcisms. I respect that! Please understand that I am not personally attacking these 3 people who have apparently been given "special dispensation" to receive holy communion "first". The irony is that during one of these occurances, Father George briefly spoke about bullying at school and in our homes when referring to readings on 'the beatitudes'. Apparently, he doesn't recognize bullying within our own church.
